Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 Moon Sighting: The festival of Eid ul Fitr in India will be celebrated on 11 April 2024 i.e. the coming Thursday. Eid will be celebrated in Kerala and Ladakh tomorrow itself
In Kerala and Ladakh, Eid will be celebrated on Wednesday instead of Thursday. In these states, Eid is celebrated according to Saudi Arabia. According to a report in Manorama, Chief Qazi of Kozhikode, Kerala, Safir Sakafi, Qazi Mohammed Koya Jamamul Laili and Kerala Halal Committee Chairman M Mohammed Madani announced this. Here people of Muslim community distributed rice to the poor as Zakat.

Eid namaz will be held tomorrow morning
At the same time, Eid will be celebrated tomorrow in Jammu and Kashmir also. Grand Mufti of Kashmir Naseer-ul-Islam announced that the moon of Shawwal has been sighted here too. Jamiat Ul Ulama Isna Asharia (Kargil) in Ladakh has also announced to celebrate Eid on 10th April. Hujtaul Islam Agha Sheikh Raza Rizwani and other members of the Halal Committee said that the Eid moon would be seen at many places on April 9. On this basis, he announced to celebrate the festival of Eid ul Fitr on 10th April. Eid prayers will be offered in Ladakh on Wednesday at 10 am.

Eid will be celebrated on April 11 in other parts of India
Markaji Chand Committee of Lucknow said that the Eid moon was not visible on Tuesday (April 9). Muslim religious leader Eidgah Imam Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali announced that Eid will now be celebrated on April 11 due to the moon not being visible today.
